MAG522w1 Linux set-top box that offer 4K and HEVC support
MAG522w1 is a high-performance Linux set-top boxes. These devices are powered by an Amlogic S905X2 chipset and boast a 25% more powerful ARM Cortex-A53 CPU that enables them to play 4K content smoothly at 60 fps.
The devices enable operators to offer their users the best user experience and seamless service. Their APIs correspond to those of previous models to ensure that the set-top boxes can be easily integrated by operators who have previously used MAG devices. Upon request, we integrate MAG522w1 and MAG522w3 with third-party middleware and content protection systems.

MAG522w1 can be connected to all modern TVs, home theatres, and audio systems with HDMI inputs. The media players play TV shows, VoD, and other content from IPTV/OTT providers as well as files from external media and the local network.1 By using these devices, operators can launch services offering high-quality high-definition content, reliable technical support, and unique UI/UX. The set-top box offers a built-in 1 GB RAM and a 1T1R n Wi-Fi module.

The set-top boxes easily and smoothly play content in the most popular modern formats including 4K at 60 fps.2 HEVC codec support means the devices can play high-definition content at slow Internet speeds.
